Hello my whimsical friends!

This has been… an interesting January. I started this month thinking I was fully prepared to film, edit, and upload and that I had a foolproof schedule. While that wasn’t exactly the case, I still consider this month a successful one for Whimsically Chelsea. Despite technical difficulties and fighting off a cold, a lot of progress has occurred.

• Footage for 3 full videos has been halfway edited (using Premiere Rush on my phone, hoping the new laptop will make the process a bit faster and easier).

• The Squarespace website has been upgraded with favicons and fonts.

• The larger project for this summer is progressing on schedule for the most part despite unforeseen hurdles.

• A lot of friends and family have liked the Whimsically Chelsea Facebook and Instagram pages, and some have even subscribed to the still rather sparse YouTube channel.

• Updated equipment has joined the workroom.

• The filming/editing/uploading/social media scheduling has been revamped to work around my personal workflow and my regular work schedule

• Guest crafters have been scheduled for future videos this year.

My goal for February is that I’ll get caught up on the January videos, finish the February videos, and have the new schedule firmly in place before March. I’m really excited about sharing what I’ve been working on with all of you!
